SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY OF NMI (NIL)

The basic activity of the Institute concentrates on the issue of lowering morbidity rate and total mortality within the population. This general task is realized through wide variety of more specific tasks, described with details wherever the activities of all the departments are depicted.
In general the basic task is realized through applying the obtained test result to:
- identification, control and prevention of public health threats,
- protection against extraordinary situations and their consequences,
- providing of the scientific data necessary to undertake any practical action concerning the whole health care system.

Basic task of the Institute is also carrying out research concerning drug quality, efficacy and safety as well as their introducing on Polish market.
