The department carries out public procurement, covering:
- open tendering,
- price requests,
-
single-source procurement (art.66 of Public Procurement Act)
The department prepares documentations concerning all the contracts, cooperates with all the departments of the Institute specifying what is to be ordered, the conditions of the delivery and kind of warrants in all cases.
The department is also responsible for providing all the necessary products (equipment, reagents, furniture etc) to carry on the main activity of the Institute. All the purchases are realized in accordance with the Public Procurement Act.
